Halnaker Class – A Fantastic Finish to the Half Term!

What a brilliant start to the term it has been for Halnaker Class! In Maths, we have been diving deep into fractions—not always easy, but we have shown loads of perseverance and ambition along the way. From simplifying tricky fractions to solving real-life problems, everyone has worked hard and supported each other brilliantly.

In English, our writing skills have really taken off! We have been busy creating our own inventions and writing about different topics that we find interesting and tackling detailed report writing. It has been amazing to see the courage everyone has shown in sharing ideas, experimenting with new styles, and pushing themselves to improve.

Throughout the term, Halnaker Class have continued to show true kindness and acceptance—cheering each other on, working as a team, and celebrating everyone’s strengths. That positive spirit has made our classroom such a great place to learn.

And what better way to end the term than with our exciting trip to the London Dungeons. It was a day full of laughter, history, and maybe just a few screams! Everyone showed huge courage as we explored London’s spooky past.

It’s been a term full of learning, fun, and friendship—truly living out our values of ambition, kindness, courage, perseverance, and acceptance. Well done, Halnaker Class!
