Key Stage 4 Courses & Accreditation
Our carefully selected KS4 programme allows us to collaborate with pupils & parents to identify unique pathways for their abilities – Through consistent assessment and review of EHCP targets, staff can sign post along the best possible route for each pupil.
We offer a dual strategy focus on both English and Maths foundation and GCSE 9 -1 programmes; this allows pupils to experience formal assessments in readiness for their next steps at college. Pupils are individually tracked each term to check they are making good progress overall.
We also offer bespoke pathways to alternative accreditation and colleges.
We are offering a new STEM curriculum as from September 2025.
All Key Stage 4 pupils are entered for a wide range of accredited courses according to their attainment level.
Core Subjects are:
- Maths
- English
- Science
- Computing
- ASDAN PSHE
- ASDAN Personal and Social Effectiveness
Pupils then choose vocational accreditations according to their interests through the school’s options process.
Foundation options include a technical skills day at Chichester College or Brinsbury College, one day a week, as outlined below:
Please note: Our highly personalised and be-spoke curriculum continues to see adaptions to the curriculum offer to match the pupils complex and ranging needs.
