Ash Class had an especially exciting Forest School lesson this week. While working hard to expand our very own replica WW1 trench — originally started by former pupil Boaz — one lucky pupil made an incredible discovery: a complete clay bottle covered in beautiful salt glaze

Experts believe the bottle could be as much as 200 years old! The smile on Jackson’s face says it all — what a moment to remember.

This special find will be proudly displayed at school for everyone to enjoy and to remind us how history can be just beneath our feet.
