Pupil Work Experience
Connor from Bignor class visited Pebbles Café at Mary Rose Academy to complete his work experience. Connor expressed an interest to visit the Café as he is in his second year of Catering at Chichester College and has a great passion for cooking and baking.
Connor was met with a warm welcome from both staff and pupils who were extremely kind and helpful throughout the day. Some of the tasks that Connor had to complete were making sausage rolls to sell to the staff for their lunch, setting up the cafe ready for service, serving the customers, taking money and giving change, and of course, tidying up. He also delivered lunch to Faye, the Executive Principal of Mary Rose Academy.
Connor adapted brilliantly to his new surroundings and learned very quickly to work with new people. He was a great ambassador for Littlegreen Academy, displaying all the school values through his excellent work. Well done Connor!
Connor had a great day and would like to thank everyone at Pebbles Café for all of their help and support.
